|«|| The Combat Rubber Reconnaissance Craft (CRRC) is the most popular Special Forces boat in use worldwide. Its unique hull shape and various floor systems allow it to carry soldiers or sailors on a variety of mission types.|
Designed to be air transportable, the CRRC is a small inflatable boat that is intended to be used for over-the-horizon transportation, inserting lightly armed raiding parties or reconnaissance teams onto beaches, piers, offshore facilities, and larger vessels.
Primarily operated by the USMC, the CRRC is one of the faster boats in ArmA 2. Its small size, quiet engine, and fairly large seating capacity means that troops can easily insert or extract from any shoreline stealthily.
Compared to its Russian counterpart, the CRRC is marginally better as it has enough room to house another passenger for a total of four as opposed to only three (not including the driver). In all other aspects however, the CRRC is practically identical to the PBX and similarly lacks armour plating, which leaves its crew vulnerable to enemy fire.
The CRRC is only just slightly slower than the Russian PBX. Both are virtually identical to each other handling-wise, and there is no difference in turn rate or acceleration between the two.
The CRRC contains enough space to transport the driver and up to four passengers at a time. Besides the driver who sits in the rear, each passenger sits leaning forward and are position at a specific point on each side of the boat (bow, centre, port, and starboard).
- Despite being able to do so in real-life, in-game CRRCs cannot be loaded or undeployed from the USS Khe Sanh due to the latter's well dock being inaccessible.
