The Kingdom of Sahrani, commonly referred to as South Sahrani before 2007, was one of two nations that existed on the island of Sahrani in the north of Atlantic Ocean before the Sahrani War of 2006 and since then, the only country. During the Sahrani War of 2006, it conquered its northern neighbor, the Democratic Republic of Sahrani and annexed it into its country as a united Sahrani.

The Kingdom of Sahrani is a Spanish-speaking country and its capital is Paraíso. Traffic drives on the right side of the road and the country's motto, which is featured on its flag, is: "Si vis pacem para bellum".

The Kingdom of Sahrani is a monarchy. As of 2007, its sovereign is Queen Isabella Ximenez, who succeeded King Joseph III after he died the same year.

International relations

Before the Sahrani War of 2006, the Kingdom of Sahrani had poor relations with its northern communist neighbor, the Democratic Republic of Sahrani, also known as North Sahrani. The United States was a supporter of South Sahrani's government and provided U.S. Army soldiers to train the Royal Army Corps of Sahrani (RACS) in 2002 to hopefully prevent North Sahrani from invading. They remained there until 2006, when the war began.

After the war, South Sahrani absorbed North Sahrani and became a united Sahrani, it still has good relations with the United States. However, the PMC team who is hired by Queen Isabella mentions that Queen Isabella was eager to see the U.S. forces leaving the island as soon as possible.

The Kingdom of Sahrani's armed forces are known as the Royal Army Corps of Sahrani (RACS) The RACS has no sizable navy to speak of, although its army does posses several small inflatable boats which can be used to board ships, transport special forces and perform littoral patrols. The RACS air force has no fixed wing aircraft, but rather consists of several MH-6 and AH-6 helicopters.

As of 2006, the RACS is outfitted mainly with NATO-style equipment, they wear DBDU desert camouflage uniforms with coyote brown Interceptor Body Armor (IBA) vests and USMC-style LWH helmets. Their boots are desert tan in color. The RACS' vehicles are tan with a blue and white chevron painted on their hoods; its primary APC is the American-made M113 and its primary motorized vehicle is the Land Rover Defender.

When the Sahrani War began in 2006 after North Sahrani invaded South Sahrani, it was the first major conflict the RACS had been involved in and, with the help of U.S. forces, RACS forces managed to push North Sahrani forces back across the border and into their capital of Bagango.

After the war, RACS forces helped rebuild their ruined infrastructure during the war.

Southern Sahrani has several different terrains, in the south there are deserts, in the centre of South Sahrani the terrain is similar to the areas around the Mediterranean with tropical vegetation. In the north of South Sahrani near the border, the terrain changes to a sub-tropical environment similar to parts of Europe.

Southern Sahrani's tallest mountain is San Esteban with a height of 395 metres.
