MRCO

The MRCO is a low powered riflescope featured in ArmA 3. It is used by both the AAF and FIA.

The MRCO is only available in a black finish, and it has a magnification strength of 2x. It is primarily found attached to the Mk20 and TRG series of bullpup assault rifles, but occasionally is also mounted on designated marksman rifles like the Mk18 ABR where it serves as a stand-in for longer ranged optics such as the MOS.

Unlike the riflescopes used by other factions, it is unique for being the only optic of its category that lacks a backup sight. Instead, it features the ability to toggle between two magnification "modes" that provide either a wide field-of-view for use in close quarters, or a more narrow but zoomed in field-of-view that is more suitable for medium range engagements.

Trivia

  • The MRCO is based on the real-life "QR-TS PITBULL 2" sold in the United States by Valdada Optics, a subsidiary of its Romania-based parent company I.O.R.
