The RCO is one of the more common attachments seen mounted on the MX series used by NATO infantrymen.
It has a backup red dot sight fitted above the primary scope for use in close encounters. The main scope has a magnification strength of 2x and a fixed zeroing range of 300 m, while the backup red dot sight is set to a zeroing of 200 m.
- Black: Standard matte black finish. Commonly used by Mediterranean NATO forces, and CTRG operators on occasion as well.
- Khaki: Light khaki green paint finish. Exclusively used by Pacific NATO forces.
- The RCO is based on the real-life "Mark 4 High Accuracy Multi-Range Riflescope" manufactured by Leupold Optics.
- The top mounted red dot sight on the other hand is based on Leupold's "DeltaPoint Reflex Sight".
