Task Force Aegis was a battalion-sized US-led multinational NATO peacekeeping force established to quell the civil war in the republic of Altis and Stratis in accordance with the mandate laid out under the Jerusalem Cease Fire of 2030. Task Force Aegis was led by colonel Andrew MacKinnon.
The US forces of Task Force Aegis consisted of two companies of US forces, along with a supporting US air squadron. In addition, the task force included an element from the United Kingdom, CTRG's Group 14 led by Captain Scott Miller, as well as a company of AAF regulars and an AAF fighter squadron. The task force's primary objective was to train the soldiers of the AAF and maintain order on the republic's islands during the civil war.
